The artist Fabio Pini will participate in the collective exhibition “Le Muse Incantatrici,” which will be held at the Museo del Mar (Castillo Fortaleza) in Santa Pola, Alicante, from July 13 to September 10, 2024. This exhibition, curated by Loredana Trestin with the assistance of Maria Cristina Bianchi, is conceived by the ARconTE Association and organized by Divulgarti.
Exhibition Concept:
The exhibition explores the fundamental concepts of ancient Greek culture:
- Kalos: Beauty
- Eros: Passion, love, eroticism
- Logos: Discourse, communication, cultural exchange
- Filia: Selfless friendship, altruism
These concepts, which have constituted the backbone of values in Ancient Greece, are reinterpreted in a contemporary key. The “Contemporary Muses” represent the inspirations and artistic intuition that each person holds in their inner world, and the artist’s task is to translate these messages into works of art. Through sculptures, paintings, and installations, the exhibition aims to demonstrate how artistic expression is the tangible manifestation of values such as eros, filia, logos, and beauty.
